This weekend on the Mid-Ohio track, the #52 AFS/PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports Ligier JS P217 clinched the sixth place in the overall classification and finished first of the LM P2s. First race of the F4 U.S. Championship in homage to Andrew Scriven

This weekend saw the start of the 2018 F4 U.S. Championship in Virginia with 33 Ligier JS F4s. Two free practices, one qualifying session and three races of 30 minutes were scheduled throughout the weekend. For this first race of the year, the drivers and teams paid tribute to Andy Scriven, the chief designer/creator of the Ligier JS F4, who sadly passed away during winter.
