History

After having achieved success with the OAK Racing team crowned by a double in LM P2 in the Le Mans 24 Hours and the FIA WEC in 2013, Jacques Nicolet continued the adventure in motor sport by founding Ligier Automotive, a company dedicated to the construction of racing cars.

Our brands

Ligier Automotive is a young company with a long history in French motor sport. It owns several iconic brands, including, of course, Ligier, but also Martini Automobiles. Ligier Automotive is committed to developing its two brands in France and internationally by offering a whole range of cars and services associated with them.

Collection

After the Ligier JS1, JS2 and JS3, the first three models of the brand, the Ligier adventure continued for 21 seasons on the Formula 1 circuits. Twenty-seven models were designed by Guy Ligier's men, from the Ligier JS5 in 1976 to the Ligier JS43, victorious at the Monaco Grand Prix in 1996. Since the acquisition of the brand in 2014, eight models of racing cars have been launched in the CN, sports-prototype, single-seater and GT categories. Discover all the models that have marked Ligier's history!

People

Since its beginnings in 1969, the Ligier adventure was built by men who all brought a brick to the structure. Linked by honest and strong relationships, often imprinted with a sincere friendship, these men marked, at different levels and degrees, the history of the brand.
From the founder Guy Ligier, to Jacques Nicolet, who put it all into motion to make the brand shine on the circuits once more, they are many to have helped forge the aura of the Ligier brand, and Jacques Laffite and Michel Tétu are part of them.

International Presence

Ligier Automotive has four sites on two different continents: three production sites in France and one in the United States. Each of the sites has its own design department and its own production facilities to meet the specific needs of each client while exploiting knowhow.
