Endurance Brasil: BTZ Motorsport Crowned 2025 Champion with the Ligier JS P320
The 2025 Endurance Brasil season ended on Saturday, December 6, at the Autódromo de Brasília. Six Ligier JS P320s took part in this decisive final round. After a dramatic race filled with twists and turns, Gaetano Di Mauro and Arthur Pavie secured both the overall title and the P1 class title with the # 117 of BTZ Motorsport Ligier JS P320. This marks the third consecutive championship won by a Ligier team in Endurance Brasil, and the second for BTZ Motorsport.
BTZ Motorsport Took the Title After a Dramatic Finale.
Starting from the front row, the #117 of BTZ Motorsport Ligier JS P320, driven by Gaetano Di Mauro and Arthur Pavie, and joined for the finale by Gabriel Koenigkan, quickly moved into contention. But the race took a dramatic turn during the final mandatory stop. As Di Mauro exited the pits, the lane was momentarily closed, trapping the driver and costing him several positions. He rejoined the track in seventh place in the P1 category, keeping the title fight wide open.
The tension grew even further for BTZ Motorsport when number 117 developed clutch issues in the closing minutes. Di Mauro crossed the finish line in sixth place, securing the points needed to clinch both the overall and P1 class titles for the team, “one of the most difficult titles of my life,” the driver said.
This is the second time the team has claimed the championship with its Ligier #117.
