Endurance Brasil : The Ligier JS P320 triumphed in Cascavel with victory for the #42 Foresti Sports.
The Endurance Brasil championship contested its fourth round of the 2025 season on Saturday, August 9, at the Autódromo Internacional Zilmar Beux in Cascavel (PR). The event was marked by victory for the Ligier JS P320 #42 of Foresti Sports. Victor and Lucas Foresti, father and son, joined by Rafael Martins, won the three-hour-and-twenty-minute race after taking the lead at mid-distance.
“This win was for my father and for all fathers. It felt great to be here,” said an emotional Lucas Foresti on the podium.

The #42 Foresti Sports Ligier prevailed after resisting a late charge from a competitor, helped by a neutralization 20 minutes before the checkered flag. The Foresti-Martins trio held onto the advantage and claimed a second victory in the championship, the first already secured during a Father's Day weekend in 2024.
Other Ligier JS P320s in the top 10
Foresti Sports celebrated a double podium with the Ligier JS P320 #88 of Fernando Gorayeb and Adriano Buzaid, which finished third, one lap behind the winners. The Ligier JS P320 #22 of GForce Autosport (André Moraes Jr./Daniel Lancaster/Flávio Abrunhoza) rounded out the top five, four laps down.
FTR Motorsport also placed its Ligier in the top five with the #18 driven by Fernando Poèta, Cláudio Ricci, Cole Loftsgard, and Andersom Toso. The Ligier JS P320 #117 of BTZ Motorsport (Gaetano di Mauro/Guilherme Bottura/Arthur Pavie) finished ninth, while the second GForce Autosport Ligier, the JS P320 #31 (Marco Pisani/Gustavo Kiryla/Renan Guerra), took twelfth.
Standings and next round
Although victory went to the Ligier JS P320 #42 of Foresti Sports in Cascavel, the #22 of GForce Autosport retains the overall lead and the top spot in the P1 category with 430 points. It stays ahead of another Ligier JS P320, the #117 of BTZ Motorsport, with 380 points. These two prototypes position Ligier perfectly to aim for a third consecutive Endurance Brasil title, after those claimed by BTZ Motorsport in 2023 and A. Mattheis Motorsport in 2024.
Next round: The Endurance Brasil championship continues at the Autódromo Velocitta (Mogi Guaçu, SP) for a double-header on September 20–21.
