The third weekend of the F4 U.S. Championship took place between 23 - 25 June on the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Michael Costello, Augusto Soto-Schirripa and Patrick Woods-Toth each won a race.

• The #24 International Motorsports Ligier JS F4 driven by Augusto Soto-Schirripa posted the fastest lap in free practice 1 in a time of 2:22.406s on Friday 23rd June.

• In the afternoon, Frankie Mossman at the wheel of the #6 Ligier JS F4 run by Jay Howard Driver Development, emerged on top in free practice 2 in 2:06.689s.

• Bad weather led to the cancellation of qualifying. Thus, Patrick Woods-Toth in the #27 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F4, the current leader of the championship, started on pole.

• On Saturday, victory in the first race went to Michael Costello in the #19 Ligier JS F4 entered by Jay Howard Driver Development. It is the driver's second victory in the championship. . “That race was so fun to drive,” said Costello from the podium. “I just knew that if I kept finding grip - especially under the safety car - that I would be able to push it more every lap and get it done.”

• Augusto Soto-Schirripa in the #24 Ligier JS F4 came out on top in race 2. It was the first victory of his career and also the first of his team, International Motorsports, in the F4 U.S. Championship. “This win was a long time coming,” said Soto-Schirripa. “This was our second F4 U.S. race for us as a team, so it exceeded our expectations and we are really happy. After we had that contact in Race 1, we figured that we'd put in a quali lap so we could start Race 2 well, and it worked!”

• On Sunday, Patrick Woods-Toth driving the #24 Ligier JS F4 clinched victory in the final race of the weekend. Starting from fifth position, the Canadian racked up his third win of the season consolidating his place as championship leader.   “We struggled in the last race with front grip,” explained Woods-Toth from the podium. “We made a change before this race, and I made sure to take care of the tires so we could be there at the end. We got really lucky getting a yellow and had an amazing restart. The pace at the end was just incredible.”

The Ligier JS F4s will be back at the New Jersey Motorsport Park on 28-30 July for the fourth round of the championship.
