First Successes for the Ligier JS P325 in the Asian Le Mans Series at Sepang
On December 13 and 14, 2025, the Sepang International Circuit marked an important milestone for Ligier Automotive with the opening round of the 2025–2026 Asian Le Mans Series. For its first appearance in the championship, the Ligier JS P325 secured a double pole position and achieved a top 7 finish in Race 1 led by Inter Europol Competition, followed by a top 5 finish in Race 2 under the leadership of CLX Motorsport. Ligier teams claimed the first seven positions in the provisional LMP3 standings.
CLX Motorsport Set the Two Fastest Times with the Ligier JS P325.
The LMP3 qualifying session took place under wet conditions, with a track temperature of approximately 28.6°C (83.5°F). The #17 CLX Motorsport Ligier JS P325 driven by Alexander Jacoby, Kevin Rabin, and Paul Lanchère set the two fastest lap times of the session, clocking 2:12.400 and 2:12.580, ahead of three other Ligier teams.
First Victory for the Ligier JS P325 in the Asian Le Mans Series with Inter Europol Competition
Race 1 was held on Saturday, December 13, under persistent rain. In the final 20 minutes of the race, a red flag prematurely ended the event. The results were frozen, awarding victory to the #13 Inter Europol Competition Ligier JS P325, driven by Alex Bukhantsov, Henry Olarte, and Chun Ting Chou, who was already familiar with ACO championships following his participation in the 2023 and 2024 Ligier European Series. Behind the winning teams, seven other Ligier JS P325 cars completed the classification, including the #94 of High Class Racing, the #17 of CLX Motorsport, the #23 of 23Events Racing, the #29 of Forestier Racing by VPS, the #8 of Team Virage, and the #26 of Bretton Racing.

CLX Motorsport on Top, Another Strong Showing from the Ligier JS P325
On Sunday, December 14, the second race of the weekend took place under more stable conditions, allowing the full four-hour race to be completed. At the finish, the #17 CLX Motorsport Ligier JS P325 claimed victory, delivering another win for the French manufacturer in the Asian Le Mans Series. It finished ahead of four other Ligier teams: the #71 of 23Events Racing, the #29 of Forestier Racing by VPS, the #13 of Inter Europol Competition, and the #8 of Team Virage.

A Successful Opening Round at Sepang
Following this opening round, CLX Motorsport takes the lead in the LMP3 standings with 42 points, ahead of Inter Europol Competition (37 points) and Forestier Racing by VPS (25 points). High Class Racing, 23Events Racing, Team Virage, and the second Ligier entry from 23Events Racing complete the provisional standings.
The championship continues with the next round scheduled at the Dubai Autodrome, featuring two additional four-hour races on January 31 and February 1, 2026, before the season finale in Abu Dhabi the following weekend.
