FR Americas : Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport dominates in Indianapolis.

For the third round of the 2024 season, the FR Americas Championship took to the Indianapolis road circuit from June 13-16. Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport posted another perfect score with three wins, shared between Patrick Woods-Toth (#27 Ligier JS F3) and Ryan Shehan (#66 Ligier JS F3).

Woods-Thoth took pole position with a time of 1:22.982, after Shehan had been quickest in free practice with a time of 1:23.399.

 

Race 1: Woods-Toth takes his third win of the season.

- Woods-Toth and Shehan broke away from the start and battled for the lead throughout the race. It was Woods-Toth who managed to take the lead, clinching his third win of the season. “Ryan gave me a hard battle the whole time, keeping me on my toes, and I couldn't relax for the whole 35 minutes”, said Patrick Woods-Toth.

- Theodor Jensen (Ligier JS F3 #1, JENSEN), Nicolas Ambiado (Ligier JS F3 #55, Velox USA/Speed Factory) and Jett Bowling (Ligier JS F3 #2, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport) battled for third place. On his first start in the FR Americas, Jensen saved third place by just 0.284 seconds from Bowling.

Race 2: Shehan wins Race 2 from Bowling.

- Titus Sherlock (#31 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F3) was in contention for victory for a long time, but was eventually forced to retire.

- Shehan then regained the lead and took his second win of the season, ahead of Jett Bowling.

- Nicole Havrda (#6 Ligier JS F3, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport) fought hard to secure third place from Justin Garat (#17 Ligier JS F3, Speed Factory). She then had to fend off the attacks of Theodor Jensen and Hayden Bowlsbey (#22, IGY6 Motorsport). The Canadian claimed her third podium of 2024. It was a fine hat-trick for the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport team.

Race 3: Woods-Toth prevails over Shehan.

- Sixth in race 2 after a spin, Patrick Woods-Toth returned to victory after another duel with Ryan Shehan.

- Having climbed from last place on the grid to the top 3, Sherlock was penalised five seconds for forcing a competitor off the track. Demoted to sixth place, he gave up the last step of the podium to Jett Bowling. The top five was completed by Nicole Havrda and Theodor Jensen, fourth and fifth respectively.

Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport now occupies the top five places in the provisional drivers' standings, with Shehan, Woods-Toth, Sherlock, Havrda and Bowling in that order.

The next round of the FR Americas Championship will take place on June 20-23 at Mid-Ohio.
