Ligier JS Cup France: Orhès – 2M Promotion Mat Immo add a third victory to their tally!
The Dijon-Prenois circuit hosted the third race of the season of the Ligier JS Cup France. The very wet weather conditions posed a big challenge for the 21 Ligier JS2 Rs on the grid. However, this did not stop the #9 Orhès – 2M Promotion Mat Immo JS2 R from scoring their third consecutive victory of the season since the start of the fifth year of the series. In the Am category, the #61 SO 24 by LADC Ligier JS2 R secured its maiden win
• On Friday 14th April, the #70 Ligier JS2 R run by Zosh – Murs Peints (Thierry Petit, Grégory Servais and Xavier Knauf) topped the time sheets in free practice with the fastest lap in 1:22.662s.
• Later on in the day, #70 clinched its second pole position of the season with a best lap of 1:21.962s.
• The start of the race was given on Saturday 15th April on a soaking-wet track. The #9 Ligier JS2 R Pro-Am entered by Orhès – 2M Promotion Mat Immo (Mickaël Mota and Olivier Pernaut) took the chequered flag in first place scoring its third win on the bounce! #70 run by Zosh – Murs Peints came home second followed by the #2 Trajectus JS2 R driven by Jules Treluyer and Alain Ferté.
• In the Am category, the #61 SO 24 run by LADC Ligier JS2 R (Silvain Pastoris and Léo Payen) clinched their maiden victory in front of the #42 Orhès – Feed Racing JS2 R (Jean Maurin, Mickaël Petit and Kasparas Vingilis). #27 entered by XP Racing and driven by Olivier Sévérini and Julien Fébreau bagged its first podium finish of the season.
