New Championships for the Ligier JS P4 and the Ligier JS2 R
The French make's two models designed to enable gentlemen drivers and young drivers to enjoy themselves racing, or during track days, at a reasonable cost continue to seduce new championships.
The Ligier JS P4 launched in 2018 has been eligible for the Ultimate Cup Series since 2019 in the Challenge Proto category and the Trophée Tourisme Endurance in the Endurance Proto / P4 category. In 2020, it took part in the first season of the Ligier European Series, the new single-make series organized by the European Le Mans Series teams during their meetings: a championship reserved for the JS P4 as well as its equivalent in GT, the Ligier JS2 R.
In 2021, the Ligier JS P4 is also eligible to race in the GTX category in the 24H SERIES. It will make its debut in the Italian championship organized by Gruppo Peroni, the Coppa Italia GT Club.

The Ligier JS2 R was launched on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Ligier make in 2019. After that it made its debut in the Ligier JS Cup France specially dedicated to it organised by Max Mamers Management. With an average of 27 Ligier JS2 Rs entered for the season the French GT quickly became an open sesame to other organizers. It was then accepted in the Trophée Tourisme Endurance in the TTE Pirelli Series / Trophée 6 category and since the 2019 mid-season in the Napa GT-Touring Endurance and Kennol GT-Touring Sprint categories in the Ultimate Cup Series.
In 2020, it was deemed eligible for the Trans Am series in the United States and made its debut in the Ligier European Series, the 24H SERIES in the GTX category and the English Britcar Endurance Championship. In 2021, new championships have signed up the Ligier JS2 R, the Coppa Italia GT Club, the Coupe de France des Circuits in the GT Coupe de Marque category / Class 11 and the Coupe de France de la Montage in the GTTS Group / Class 4.
