Sim Racing: the Ligier JS P320 arrives in the RFactor2 game!

1st February 2022 – Simracers, be prepared! The latest-generation LMP3 built by the French constructor, the Ligier JS P320, will land on the Sim Racing RFactor2 platform on 7th February. It will join the Ligier JS P217 already available for passionate endurance fans.

The LMP3 category launched by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest in 2015 continues to attract youngsters and gentlemen drivers who want to race in endurance. The championships for which these all-carbon sports prototypes are eligible are multiplying all over the world.* Since 2021, the new-generation LMP3s launched in 2020 can race alongside DPis, LMP2s and GTDs in the biggest American endurance races like the 24 Hours of Daytona,  12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans.

Five LMP3 titles in 2021

In 2021, the Ligier JS P320 clinched five LMP3 titles (IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar, IMSA Prototype Challenge, Asian Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup and Ultimate Cup Series) and won the four biggest American endurance events:  24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, Petit Le Mans and Watkins Glen!

So it was high time for simracers to be able to take advantage of the virtual version of the new-generation LMP3 Ligier, the Ligier JS P320. The French sports prototype will be available from 7th February onwards in the RFactor2 game developed by Studio 397. RFactor2 is well known to all Sim Racing fans, amateurs and professionals alike, and is also the platform of the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans launched in 2020 and the Le Mans Virtual Series.

The Ligier JS P320 can be bought separately or as a pack (the details will soon be announced by Studio 397).
