At the second round of the XGT4 Italy championship, held on the legendary Imola circuit during the April 19–20, 2025 weekend alongside the FIA World Endurance Championship, the Ligier JS2 Rs entered by LR Dynamic Events, Ligier Official Partner for Italy, made a strong impression. They stood out at every level against the Italian GT4 competition—delivering performance, reliability, and results.
A Successful Weekend of Racing at Imola
After a solid start to the season at Mugello, which included an overall win in Race 2 and a double podium in Race 1, LR Dynamic Events confirmed its form at Imola. Andrea Frizza, Jacopo Mazza, and Manuel Quondamcarlo delivered an impressive weekend with a pole position, an overall podium, two race wins, two class podiums, and two fastest laps.
“The guys were incredible all weekend,” said Simone Riccitelli of LR Motorsport. “We managed every phase of the event in the best possible way and got the results we were aiming for. Once again, our Ligier proved to be fast and reliable. We're heading in the right direction.”
A Promising Start to the Season and Growing Momentum
After two rounds, LR Dynamic Events leads the overall standings and holds both first and second place in the class category.
“We're very happy with this start to the season,” added Simone Riccitelli. “The Ligier JS2 R has proven to be extremely competitive against the GT4 field, and we're confident we'll be fighting for the title until the end.”
Beyond the on-track results, the Ligier JS2 R is also attracting new customers. The Italian team recently announced the sale of its first car to Team Not Only Motorsport, which will join the Italian series in the upcoming rounds.
