TTE Pirelli Series: The Ligier JS2 R #99 of Of Course Competition Wrapped Up the 2025 Season at Magny-Cours with the JS2 R Trophy Title and Second Place Overall.

The grand finale of the 4 Hours of the TTE Pirelli Series took place from 13 to 16 November 2025 at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours. Five Ligier JS2 Rs were on the grid, including the #99 of Of Course Competition, the 2024 champion and leader of the standings heading into the final round. While running in the lead, the #99 saw its race compromised when another competitor hit it in the final hour. The car ultimately finished fourth overall. Despite this setback, the crew secured second place in the overall TTE Pirelli Series standings and clinched the 2025 Ligier JS2 R Trophy title.

A controlled finale until a cruel twist

The Ligier JS2 R #99 of Of Course Competition, driven by Alexis Anthony, Jean-Christophe David and Antoni De Barn, got off to an excellent start and quickly charged back into the top positions, capitalizing on consistent pace and smart management of the numerous yellow flags. After the first hour, the crew was already running inside the top five before taking the overall lead.

But just over an hour from the end, everything changed. A rival missed the braking point and struck the Ligier. The impact forced the team to return to the pits for inspection, shattering their hopes of victory.

The #99 eventually crossed the finish line in fourth place overall. It finished first in the Ligier JS2 R Trophy, ahead of the #140 from Lemal Racing, the #75 from JML Sport, the #7 of Extreme Limite, and the #880 of TMP by LVR.

A strong 2025 season for Of Course Competition

Despite this setback, Of Course Competition concluded the 2025 season in second place in the overall championship, thanks to their win at Dijon and a second-place finish at Lédenon. The 2024 champions once again confirmed their status as a benchmark in the category.

The team secured the Ligier JS2 R Trophy title for the second consecutive year with 840 points. They finished ahead of the Ligier JS2 R #140 of Lemal Racing, which scored 430 points, followed by JML Sport and the Ligier JS2 R #75 in third place with 390 points.
