Ultimate Cup Series: Ligier Wrapped Up the 2025 Season in Style at Le Castellet.
The finale of the 2025 Ultimate Cup Series took place on the weekend of November 7–10 at Circuit Paul Ricard. This decisive last round proved favorable to the teams running the Ligier JS P320 in the European Sprint Prototype Cup. Bretton Racing (#26) claimed a double victory and secured the LMP3 Pro-Am crown, while ARC Bratislava (#44), already Am champion, also had a pair of wins. Since its debut in the Ultimate Cup Series in 2020, the Ligier JS P320 has shined every season and now holds a total of seven titles in the championship.
Graff Made a Strong Impression in Qualifying for Its Return to the Championship.
From the opening practice sessions, the Ligier JS P320s demonstrated strong pace.
Qualifying brought a pleasant surprise with the return of #6 Graff Ligier JS P320, present specifically for the finale. Yuhao Dai secured pole position for Race 1 with a 2:00.869 lap.
A High-Pressure Finale, Double Victories and Two Titles for Ligier
Bretton Racing dominated the finale with two overall and Pro-Am wins thanks to the #26 driven by Ewan Thomas and Ralph Meichtry. Racetivity's #83, entrusted to Charles-Henri Samani and Emmanuel Collard, secured two strong second-place finishes in what were very promising debuts.
With this double victory, Bretton Racing definitively sealed the 2025 LMP3 Pro-Am title.
In Am, ARC Bratislava and Miro Konopka, already crowned champions with the #44, ended the season on a high note with two additional victories. They achieved a remarkable feat: ten consecutive wins in the Am category of the European Sprint Prototype Cup.
The weekend was also marked by the impressive debut of the Kaiwen Yang – Yuhao Dai duo in the Graff-run Ligier JS P320 #6. For their first appearance in the championship, they won both races in the Pro category, immediately proving their competitiveness.
Seven Titles for the Ligier JS P320 in the Ultimate Cup Series
With these two new titles, the Ligier JS P320 reinforced its status as a benchmark in the championship. Since it arrived in 2020, it had claimed at least one title every season and now boasted seven LMP3 crowns in the Ultimate Cup Series. In total, the car has accumulated 37 titles since its competitive debut.
