Endurance Brasil: First victory for the #2 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320 at Interlagos
The sixth and third-to-last round of the Ouribank Endurance Brasil took place on September 12, 2026, at the Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo. At the end of a three-hour race that began in wet conditions and finished on a dry track, Foresti Sports claimed its first overall and P1 victory with the #2 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320 driven by André Rosário and Enzo Elias. The team also secured a one-two finish thanks to second place for the #42 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320 of Victor Foresti, Lucas Foresti and Gabriel Koenigkan. With the #88 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320 of Fernando Gorayeb, Arthur Pavie and Rafa Martins finishing fourth, Foresti Sports placed three Ligier JS P320s inside the top four. In P2, the #28 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320 also claimed victory with Miguel Rosário and Diego Freitas.
Foresti Sports wins after a tricky race
On Saturday, September 12, the three-hour race at Interlagos delivered plenty of twists and turns. On a track that was initially soaked before gradually drying out, André Rosário and Enzo Elias took the lead with the #2 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320 and built a gap of nearly 50 seconds over their rivals.
However, several Safety Car periods in the closing stages brought the field back together and reignited the battle. Having already lost out on the final lap at the previous round in Santa Cruz do Sul, the #2 once again had to defend its position all the way to the final corners. This time, the outcome went in its favor.
“They made us fight all the way to the end for this victory, right up to the final corner. Another scare, but that's what I said on the radio: as long as it's in our hands, there's no way we're letting it go. We're bringing this one home because we deserve it and the team deserves it,” said Enzo Elias.
André Rosário and Enzo Elias therefore claimed their first overall and P1 victory in the Brazilian endurance championship.
A one-two finish for the Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320s
Foresti Sports' one-two finish was also decided on the final lap. At the wheel of the #42 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, Lucas Foresti passed the #35 to take second place. Together with Victor Foresti and Gabriel Koenigkan, he secured an overall and P1 one-two finish for the team.
The #88 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, driven by Fernando Gorayeb, Arthur Pavie and Rafa Martins, finished fourth, one lap behind the winners. GForce Autosport also placed the #22 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320 of Flávio Abrunhoza, Daniel Lancaster and André Moraes Jr. inside the top five.
With four Ligier JS P320s in the top five, the Ligier teams once again confirmed their strong presence at the sharp end of the Brazilian endurance championship.
Foresti Sports extends its championship lead
Thanks to their second-place finish at Interlagos, Victor Foresti, Lucas Foresti and Gabriel Koenigkan extended their lead in the provisional standings. Taking into account the season's dropped score, the crew of the #42 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320 now has 710 points.
Behind them, the #27 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320, driven by Marco Pisani and Renan Guerra, remains second with 675 points. André Rosário and Enzo Elias, winners in the #2 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, are also back in contention with 630 points.
Victor Foresti also continued his perfect run in the Troféu Legends, taking his sixth win in six races this season.
Second consecutive P2 victory for the #28 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320
In P2, Miguel Rosário and Diego Freitas continued their winning streak since the category returned to the championship. After their victory at Santa Cruz do Sul, the two drivers won again at Interlagos with the #28 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320.
Miguel Rosário therefore celebrated his second P2 victory in as many races on the same day that his son, André Rosário, claimed his first overall victory.
Following the Interlagos round, two events remain on the 2026 Ouribank Endurance Brasil calendar. The next race will take place on October 24, 2026, at the Autódromo Internacional de Brasília.
