Foresti Sports on pole position

On Friday, July 31, the Ligier JS P320s were at the sharp end from qualifying onwards. Enzo Elias and André Rosário secured pole position with the #2 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, setting an average time of 1:12.215. It was the crew's second consecutive pole position, having already been the fastest at the previous round at Velopark.

Behind them, GForce Autosport completed the front row with the #22 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320 of Flávio Abrunhoza, Daniel Lancaster and André Moraes Jr., less than three tenths behind. Foresti Sports also placed the #88 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320 fourth and the #42 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320 sixth, while the #27 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320 started from fifth.

GForce Autosport wins after a spectacular finish

On Saturday, August 1, the three-hour race was decided on the final lap. After spending much of the race in contention for victory, Renan Guerra, at the wheel of the #27 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320, closed in on Enzo Elias over the final kilometers.

In the fast esses of the final sector, the two drivers took different approaches to GT4 traffic: Elias went to the left, while Guerra chose the right. The driver of the #27 gained the advantage and took the lead with only a few corners remaining.

The victory was even more significant for GForce Autosport, as the team was still working on the car just 24 hours before the start following an accident in free practice. Marco Pisani, Gustavo Kiryla and Renan Guerra therefore delivered a hard-fought victory for the #27 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320 in the closing moments of the race.

An all-Ligier JS P320 podium

The #2 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, driven by André Rosário and Enzo Elias, finished second, just 0.712 seconds behind the winners. GForce Autosport placed a second car on the podium with the #10 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320 of Reginaldo Nappi and Gaetano di Mauro, third just 1.043 seconds behind.

The Ligier JS P320s therefore locked out both the overall and P1 podiums. The #42 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, driven by Victor Foresti, Lucas Foresti and Gabriel Koenigkan, finished fourth, ahead of the #22 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320 and the #88 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320. Six Ligier JS P320s finished inside the top eight in this fifth round of the season.
