Endurance Brasil: Pole Position and Ligier JS P320 Podium Sweep at Velopark
The Ligier JS P320s dominate the front of the field in the fourth round of the Ouribank Endurance Brasil, held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Autódromo FuelTech Velopark. After André Rosário and Enzo Elias claimed their first pole position with the #2 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, Lucas Foresti, Victor Foresti and Gabriel Koenigkan secured their third victory of the season at the wheel of the team's sister car, the #42. The #2 finished second, ahead of the #27 GForce Autosport entry, completing a 100% Ligier JS P320 podium.
With four Ligier JS P320s in the overall top five, Ligier teams confirmed their leading position in the Brazilian endurance championship.
First Pole Position for the #2 Foresti Sports
On Friday, June 26, André Rosário and Enzo Elias claimed their first pole position in Ouribank Endurance Brasil during only their fourth race in the P1 category.
At the wheel of the #2 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, the duo set the best average time in qualifying with a 50.308-second lap.
The front row was made up entirely of Ligier JS P320s. The #22 GForce Autosport entry, driven by André Moraes Jr., Daniel Lancaster and Flávio Abrunhoza, qualified second and also led the Legends Trophy contenders.
In the championship battle, Marco Pisani, Renan Guerra and Gustavo Kiryla placed the #27 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320 third, just ahead of the #42 Foresti Sports entry of Lucas Foresti, Victor Foresti and Gabriel Koenigkan.
The Ligier JS P320s therefore locked out the first four positions on the starting grid.
The #27 GForce Autosport Takes the Lead at the Start
The field lined up for a three-hour race at Velopark, in Nova Santa Rita, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
From the start, the #27 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320, driven by Marco Pisani, Gustavo Kiryla and Renan Guerra, moved into the lead. The crew stayed in control for much of the race, ahead of the two Foresti Sports sports prototypes.
However, strategy and pit-stop management played a decisive role in the closing minutes.
The Two Foresti Sports Ligiers Go on the Attack.
During the final sequence of mandatory pit stops, the #42 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, driven by Lucas Foresti, Victor Foresti and Gabriel Koenigkan, took the lead of the race.
The crew held the advantage through to the checkered flag and won after completing 180 laps in 3:01:03.277. It was their third victory in four rounds since the start of the season.
The second Ligier JS P320 entered by Foresti Sports also moved to the front. André Rosário and Enzo Elias finished second in the #2, just 2.929 seconds behind the winners, giving the Brazilian team a one-two finish.
After leading for much of the race, the #27 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320, driven by Marco Pisani, Gustavo Kiryla and Renan Guerra, completed the podium, 6.664 seconds behind.
Four Ligier JS P320s in the Top Five
Ligier teams placed three cars in the top three overall and four in the top five.
Flávio Abrunhoza, Daniel Lancaster and André Moraes Jr. finished fifth at the wheel of the #22 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320.
The #18 FTR Motorsport Ligier JS P320, with Henrique Assunção, Fernando Poeta and Pietro Rimbano at the wheel, finished seventh. Despite an off-track excursion early in the race, the crew reached the finish and added a fifth Ligier JS P320 to the top 10.
The #42 Foresti Sports Extends Its Championship Lead.
Thanks to this third victory of the season, Lucas Foresti, Victor Foresti and Gabriel Koenigkan, together with Foresti Sports, strengthened their position at the top of the championship.
Before the lowest-result drop required by the regulations is applied, the #42 Foresti Sports entry extended its lead to 55 points over its closest pursuers, the #27 GForce Autosport car driven by Marco Pisani, Gustavo Kiryla and Renan Guerra.
After four rounds, the title fight between the two Ligier teams remains wide open.
The fifth round of the Ouribank Endurance Brasil will take place on August 1, 2026. Initially scheduled for Goiânia, the event will have to be held at another circuit due to renovation work planned at the track. The new venue will be announced shortly.
