FR Americas : Perfect score for Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport at Road America

The second round of the FR Americas Championship took place at Road America from 16 to 19 May, with three wins from three races for the Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport team, thanks to Patrick Woods-Toth (#27 Ligier JS F3) and Titus Sherlock (#31 Ligier JS F3).

The two Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport drivers, Woods-Toth and Sherlock, were on the front row after qualifying.

Race 1:

- Sherlock was the quickest off the line but Woods-Toth took command after a side-by-side battle between turns 5 and 7.

- The three Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport drivers Jett Bowling (#2), Nicole Havrda (#6), Ryan Shehan, (#66,) and Justin Garat (#17, Speed Factory) battled hard for fourth place. However, Bowling went off the track and the race was neutralised.

- At the restart, only one lap remained. Woods-Toth, still in the lead, resisted Sherlock's pressure: “When the yellow came out, I knew it was going to be a fight. It was a good race with Titus.” Nicolas Ambiado (#55, Velox USA/Speed Factory) completed the podium.

Race 2:

- It was another duel between Woods-Toth and Sherlock. The latter took the lead midway through the race to claim his first FR Americas victory.

- Shehan inherited second place after Woods-Toth returned to the pits following an off-track excursion.

- Third-placed Ambiado was penalized five seconds for an early start. This earned Nicole Havrda her first podium finish, the second for a female driver in FR Americas.

Race 3:

- Sherlock got off to the best start, followed by Shehan and Woods-Toth. But Woods-Toth went off the track and spun, necessitating the intervention of a tow truck. This neutralization brought the race to a premature end.

- The final race of the weekend ended with the same podium finish as Race 2. This is Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport's fifth win out of the six races contested so far this season.
