Horag’s Ligier JS P4 creates a sensation at Hockenheim!

On 3rd March 2021 Swiss Company Horag took delivery of its first Ligier JS P4. After it had been decorated in an elegant sober livery that gives a glimpse of its carbon silhouette the Ligier JS P4 was ready for its official presentation to Horag's clients. And the company didn't choose just any old track as the presentations were made on the Hockenheim circuit which hosts the German F1 Grand Prix! All the right elements were in place to ensure that the Ligier JS P4 would make people sit up and take notice and make a big splash!

At the beginning of the year, Horag opted for the Ligier JS P4 to formalise its partnership with Ligier Automotive and promote the brand. After delivery and an initial day's testing on the Magny-Cours circuit in France, Horag's Ligier JS P4 made its appearance at Hockenheim on 18-19 May at the test days organised by KR-Motorsports.

The Ligier JS P4's full curves and aggressive lines left everybody impressed! After several demonstration laps on the track with Benjamin Hotz, the Horag president,  clients followed one another at the wheel. More test days are scheduled in the near future to enable other people to discover the sports prototype.

Almost immediately after these test days, the team set off for the Red Bull Ring for their first race of the season in the P9 championship and the Sports Car Challenge, this time with another Ligier model, the Ligier JS53 Evo 2, the latest CN from the French constructor. It's a quick powerful car pushing out 300 bhp for a weight of 600 kg. Benjamin Hotz was again behind the wheel. Horag finished the first race of the weekend on a wet track in second place overall. In the second, the Swiss gave his rivals no quarter and led the race from start to finish.
