Saturday 11 November, the #9 Ligier JS P320 entered by A. Mattheis Motorsport scored its second victory of the season at the Autódromo do Velopark. Despite difficult conditions at the end of the race, the LMP3 held on and took the chequered flag in first place.
• Friday 10 November, the #117 BTZ Motorsport Ligier JS P320 (Gaetano Di Mauro and Pedro Bürger) qualified fourth, while A. Mattheis Motorsport's #9 (Marcos Gomez and Xandinho Negrão) bagged seventh place on the starting grid.
• The race took place on Saturday 11 November. After around forty minutes, #117 and #9 were lying second and third respectively. #9 managed to snatch the lead briefly for the first time.
• Both cars remained in the top 3. As the laps reeled off and pit stops intervened, the two LMP3s swapped positions several times.
• But the skies over the Velopark circuit grew darker and darker and the weather became threatening. Unsurprisingly, it began to rain while #9 fought its way back to the front.
• The Ligier JS P320 run by A. Mattheis Motorsport was battling hard for second place. The rain poured down with ever-increasing intensity and the track turned into a skating rink. #9 finally regained the lead with less than an hour's racing to go.
• There was no sign of a break in the bad weather and the race was interrupted by a red flag. It resumed a few minutes later under the safety car before the green flag was waved again.
• Mattheis Motorsport #9 kept up the pace and won the seventh round of the season scoring the team's second victory in its first year in the championship!
The championship final will take place on 9 December at the Autódromo do Velocitta. The race will be the decider as the two Ligier JS P320s occupy the lead in the championship's provisional standings with BTZ Motorsport's #117 on 655 points and A. Mattheis Motorsport's#9 on 600 points.
