IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge: Victory, Podiums and Bronze Cup Double for the Ligier JS P325s at CTMP
The Ligier JS P325s delivered a strong weekend in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge round held on July 11 and 12, 2026, at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Starting from pole position in both 45-minute sprint races, Wyatt Brichacek kept the #95 Toney Driver Development Ligier JS P325 at the front throughout the weekend, with a third-place finish in Race 1 followed by victory in Race 2.
Bijoy Garg completed the podium in the second race at the wheel of the #30 Toney Driver Development Ligier JS P325, while Travis Hill won both LMP3 Bronze Cup classifications in the #2 Shopify Racing Ligier JS P325, on home soil in Canada.
Wyatt Brichacek at the Front from Race 1
On Saturday, July 11, Wyatt Brichacek started from pole position in the #95 Toney Driver Development Ligier JS P325 for the first sprint race of the weekend.
The American driver immediately took control of the LMP3 category and led the race from the start through to the checkered flag. However, he received a 10-second penalty for a false start after changing columns before crossing the start/finish line.
Although Brichacek managed to build a lead of more than 13 seconds at the front, a Full Course Yellow with 10 minutes remaining wiped out the gap he had created. The race ended under caution, preventing the #95 from maintaining its advantage once the penalty was applied.
Wyatt Brichacek ultimately finished third in Race 1 with the #95 Toney Driver Development Ligier JS P325.
Travis Hill Wins the Bronze Cup at Home
Behind the #95, another Ligier JS P325 stood out in the LMP3 Bronze Cup. On home soil, Travis Hill won the Bronze classification at the wheel of the #2 Shopify Racing Ligier JS P325.
The Canadian driver finished fourth overall in the LMP3 category and secured an important first win in front of his home crowd. Competing with TWOth Autosport, the team he runs with his brother Trevor Hill, Travis Hill made an ideal start to his Canadian Tire Motorsport Park weekend.
Brichacek Bounces Back in Race 2
On Sunday, July 12, Wyatt Brichacek started again from pole position for the second sprint race of the weekend. At the wheel of the #95 Toney Driver Development Ligier JS P325, he held his position at the start this time and led from the green flag.
Brichacek quickly built a gap of more than five seconds before a Full Course Yellow interrupted the race at mid-distance. At the restart, he was able to rebuild his advantage at the front of the LMP3 category.
The Toney Driver Development driver eventually crossed the finish line as the winner, 5.993 seconds ahead of the field. It was his third IMSA LMP3 sprint win of the 2026 season, following his sweep at Circuit of The Americas in February, and his fourth IMSA victory of the year, including his IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge win at COTA in May.
“The TDD Ligier is amazing and it's always on point,” Brichacek said. “It's a bit unfortunate yesterday with what happened. We had the pace yesterday, but I'm glad we could show again that this is where we belong on top and it all worked out.”
Two Ligier JS P325s on the Race 2 Podium
The second race also allowed Toney Driver Development to place a second Ligier JS P325 on the podium.

A Bronze Cup Double for Travis Hill
Travis Hill continued his strong run in the LMP3 Bronze Cup. Fifth overall in Race 2 with the #2 Shopify Racing Ligier JS P325, he won the Bronze classification for the second consecutive day.
The Ligier JS P325s Confirm Their IMSA Performance
With pole position and the second-fastest time in qualifying, one victory, two podiums for Toney Driver Development and two LMP3 Bronze Cup wins for Shopify Racing, the Ligier JS P325s closed the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park weekend with a strong result.
The LMP3 competitors will return to the track from August 14 to 16 at Road America in Wisconsin for the fourth and final two-hour round of the IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge.
