Ligier JS Cup France: Another win for the #9 of Orhès – 2M Promotion Mat Immo at Le Castellet

After a long summer break, the Ligier JS2 Rs of the Ligier JS Cup France returned to the track on 8 and 9 September at the Circuit Paul Ricard. The #9 Orhès - 2M Promotion Ligier JS2 R scored its fourth win of the season. The #81 from PP81 - Daydream Racing claimed its maiden victory in the Am category.

• On Friday, 8 September, the #93 Zosh - 93 Ligier JS2 R (Raphael Deschamps, Louis Marques and Julien Rodrigues) set the fastest lap in free practice in 2:16.163s.

• Later in the day, the #9 of Orhès - 2M Promotion (Mickaël Mota and Olivier Pernaut) secured pole position with a lap of 2:15.056.

• The following day, the #9 hit the ground running, finishing first overall and in the Pro-Am category in the six-hour race for its fourth win of the season. The Pro-Am category podium was completed by the #93, and the second car from the Zosh team, the #70 Zosh-Murs Peints entry (Grégory Servais and Xavier Knauf).

• In the Am category, the #81 of PP81 - Daydream Racing (Edouard, Nicolas and Paul Cauhaupe) won for the first time this season, whilst the #24 of Cegal Racing (Simon Balcaen, Pierre and M. Castelein and G. Dumarrey) came second. In its first appearance in the championship, the #2 Titan-E (Franck Bermond and Alexis Giroud) completed the podium in third place.

The Paul Armagnac circuit de Nogaro hosts the next round on 29 and 30 September with two races on the programme.
