Podiums for the Ligier JS P320 and titles for drivers Mark and Max van der Snel in the Prototype Cup Germany!

The final round of the Prototype Cup Germany took place on 13 - 15 October 2023 on the iconic Nürburgring circuit. Aust Motorsport's #3 Ligier JS P320 clinched two second-place podium finishes in races 1 and 2, while MRS GT-Racing's #14 finished third in race 1. Van der Snel father and son each won a title at the wheel of #99 entered by More Motorsport by Reiteer Engineering.

• Saturday 14th October - The Ligier JS P320 scored a double podium in the first race of the weekend. Aust Motorsport's #3 (Nigel Moore) finished second followed by #14 run by MRS GT-Racing (Jan Marschalkowski and Guilherme de Oliveira).

• The next day was almost a carbon copy of Saturday for Aust Motorsport's LMP3 in race 2 as Moore bagged another place on the second step of the podium.

• Mark van der Snel and Max van der Snel, drivers of the #99 Ligier JS P320 entered by More Motorsport by Reiteer Engineering, each won a title. The father, Mark van der Snel sealed the championship crown in the Trophy category, while his son Max won the Junior category title.

“I'm very satisfied with this season,” explained Max van der Snel . “The Prototype Cup Germany has attracted an international and very competitive field, which goes at it hammer and tongs at the wheel of the Le Mans Prototype (LMP) racing cars. I'm very proud that my father and I became champions in our category, even though we had never driven an LMP3 on these circuits! "

The third season of the Prototype Cup Germany will kick off on 20th April 2024 on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
