Prototype Winter Series : Double victory for the Konrad Motorsport Ligier JS P320 at Aragon

The third round of the Prototype Winter Series took place on 2 and 3 March 2024 at Aragon, in Spain. The German Konrad Motorsport team took a double victory with its #7 Ligier JS P320, driven by Danny Soufi and Glenn van Berlo. The team now leads the championship with one round to go before the grand finale in Barcelona on 9 and 10 March.

- The crew of the #7 Konrad Motorsport Ligier JS P320 got off to a strong start to the meeting with pole position secured for race 1, thanks to their best time of 1:53.003.

- In the second qualifying session, it was another Ligier team, Rinaldi Racing, with Steve Parrow and Daniel Keilwitz in the #66, which set the fastest time of 1:52.111. The #7 of Konrad Motorsport was third fastest in 1:52.400.

- The first race, a night race lasting 50 minutes plus a lap, began at 7pm on Saturday 2 March. The #7 quickly took off and opened up a gap over its rivals. After the compulsory pitstops, the ANS Motorsport #42 (Julien Lemoine and Clément Moreno) took the top spot. But its lead melted like snow in the sun. Konrad Motorsport regained the first place and took victory with a 35-second advantage. ANS Motorsport's #42 and Rinaldi Racing's #66 finished second and third respectively, giving the French manufacturer a 100% Ligier podium.

- The second race of the meeting took place on Sunday March 3 at 12.50pm. Another victory for Konrad Motorsport and its #7 Ligier JS P320. But this time on the wire. Rinaldi Racing finished third with its #66.

- With this double victory, which comes on top of its win in race 2 at Estoril last January, Konrad Motorsport moves to the top of the overall standings with 36.435 points, ahead of two other Ligier teams: Rinaldi Racing (25.225 points) and ANS Motorsport (24.89 points).

The final will take place on 9 and 10 March 2024 at the Barcelona circuit in Spain.
