Racing debuts: Lamborghini SC63 finishes first WEC race in Qatar

A major first for the Lamborghini SC63. The Italian marque's LMDh made its competitive debut in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), in the premier class, in Qatar, on 2 March 2024.

The #63 Lamborghini Iron Lynx crew of Mirko Bortolotti, Daniil Kvyat and Edoardo Mortara finished fourteenth after 10 hours of racing on the Losail International Circuit, demonstrating the car's reliability.

Lamborghini Iron Lynx is now preparing for a new challenge: its first appearance in competition on American soil, at the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the 12 Hours of Sebring, on 13-16 March.

It will then make its return to WEC, racing at the 6 Hours of Imola, in Italy, on 21 April 2024.
