Tourism Endurance Trophy: Of Course Compétition’s #199 wins the Spa-Francorchamps 4-Hours!

The Spa-Francorchamps circuit hosted the penultimate round of the Tourism Endurance Trophy on 20-21 October. Overall victory in the race went to #199 run by Of Course Compétition, and the team also clinched the win in the JS2 R Trophy ahead of Extrême Limite's #64 and #666 run by TM Evolution.

• Extrême Limite's #64 Ligier JS2 R (Marc Bonnet and Benjamin Redeais) qualified in pole position in its category setting the fastest lap in 3m 00.687s.

• The start of the race was given on Saturday 21st October. And four hours later, #199 entered by Of Course Compétition (Christophe David, Anthony Alexis, Alban Lagrange) clinched overall victory as well as the win in the JS2 R Trophy category. A second Ligier JS2 R, #64, came home in the top 3 in the general classification when it crossed the finishing line in third place.

• The latter also finished second in the JS2 R Trophy. Completing the category podium was TM Evolution's #666 (Christophe Feret, Jean Laget and Fabien Greffrath).

• #64 lost ground in the JS2 R Trophy to #199. The latter has scored 720 points compared to 710 for #64.

The final of the Tourism Endurance Trophy, which will take place on the Le Mans Bugatti circuit on 11th November, promises to be a real cliff-hanger!
