Ultimate Cup Series – Second victory on the bounce for Team Virage at Magny-Cours!

Saturday, 28 October 2023 on the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit. After clinching pole position in qualifying in the afternoon, the #14 Ligier JS P320 entered by Team Virage clinched overall victory in the race. The team's second car, #92, finished third in its category.

• Saturday, 28 October: the #14 Team Virage Ligier JS P320 (George King, Manuel Espirito Santo and Viacheslav Gutak) dominated qualifying with a best time of 1:46.054s.

• The start of the four-hour race was given at nightfall. #14 jumped into the lead and immediately opened up a gap over its rivals. After a pit stop, it had to fight its way back up the time sheets again. It retook first place on several occasions.

• Manuel Espirito Santo drove the last stint and managed to pull back the 30 seconds separating him from the leader. With just a few seconds to go till the end of the race, the Portuguese driver snatched first place and clinched overall victory. It was Team Virage's second win on the bounce and the squad's third of the season.

• Espirito Santo set the fastest lap of the race in 1:34.091s.

• The team's second car, #92 (Jamie Falvey, Jacopo Faccioni and Frederico Peters) finished on the third step of the podium in the LMP3 category.

Team Virage leads the Endurance Proto Challenge Championship with 135 points. The final round will take place on the Paul Ricard circuit on 24-26 November.
