VdeV – The # 26 Wimmer Werk Motorsport Ligier JS P3 wins again!

The drivers in the V de V Endurance Series were back in action in Spain this weekend after a long summer break. Ten Ligier JS P3s were entered for the fifth of the seven rounds of the 2018 season on the technical Navarra circuit.

The Wimmer Werk Motorsport team took the chequered flag in first place half-an-hour before the race officially ended scoring its second win of the year. The event was stopped half-an-hour early because of a car catching fire. It was also the fourth victory of a Ligier JS P3 in five races in this season's V de V Endurance Series.  The Austrian team was in the mix in the top 5 throughout the event with its #26 Ligier JS P3 driven by Felix Wimmer, Matthias Kaiser and Hendrick Still who put on a flawless performance.

Nigel Moore at the wheel of the #65 Ligier JS P3 run by the Viper Niza Racing team set the fastest lap of the race for the third time this season!
