A hectic weekend with the Nissan DPis, Ligier JS P217s, Ligier JS P3s and Ligier JS F4s in action!
The United Autosports Ligier JS P217 finishes just outside the top 3
This weekend, the teams in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship raced in the Watkins Glen 6 Hours, the sixth round of the championship and the third of the four races counting for the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup. United Autosports was back in the USA for this event and put on a good performance. The Anglo-American team's #32 Ligier JS P217 started on pole and fought at the front throughout the race. Unfortunately, it was hit by another car in the second half of the event and had to pit. The team's car rejoined in 10th place, fought its way up to third and finally saw the chequered flag in fourth position.
The #52 AFS / PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports Ligier JS P217 came home ninth after an incident-free race, which could have ended in a better result had the final safety car deployment been more favourable to the car.
The two Tequila Patron ESM Nissan DPis did not finish the first hour of the race. They were victims of a pretty chaotic start caused by a driver who lost control of his car. They had to pit for repairs soon afterwards, but unfortunately problems soon forced them into retirement.
Next rendezvous: Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, round7/10, 6-8 July
V de V Endurance Series – Dijon - 29.06/01.07.18
Two Ligier JS P3s on the podium
After clinching LM P3 victory in the first three rounds of the season in the LMP3 / GT / PFV Endurance Challenge, the Ligier JS P3 missed out on a fourth win by a whisker. The #22 Inter Europol Competition Ligier JS P3, victorious at Paul Ricard, which started the race in sixth place, quickly carved its way up through the field. The drivers in the car that led for most of the race suffered tyre degradation, and they had to make do with second spot after being passed on the second-last lap by the #72 Norma M30. The #94 Ligier JS P3 run by Team Virage rounded out the top 3 after a very good showing.
The Ligier JS P4 took part in the three free practice sessions. Seven drivers got behind the wheel of the make's latest sports prototype on the Dijon Prenois circuit. On 4th July fresh tests are programmed on the Magny-Cours GP circuit. Drivers and teams interested by the Ligier JS P3 and the Ligier JS P4 should contact Christophe Profit at c.profit@onroak.com.

F4 U.S. Championship – Mid-Ohio – 29.06/01.07.18
30 Ligier JS F4s at the Mid-Ohio circuit
The F4 U.S. Championship continues to meet with growing success and 30 Ligier JS F4s were present at the third round of the 2018 season. Dakota Dickerson, who has been very consistent since the start of the season, clinched his maiden victory by winning the first of the weekend's three heats. Christian Rasmussen, who came home second in race one, won the next two.
The Ligier JS F3 was also present this weekend at Mid-Ohio. Before the big event hosting the first round of the F3 Americas Championship, the new Onroak Automotive single-seater did some demonstration laps driven by Zach Veach, Honda driver in IndyCar.
The Ligier F3 is powered by a Honda engine and shod with Pirelli tyres and is the only chassis in this new championship.
