Thirty-Four Ligier JS P325s Take Part in Road To Le Mans
During the week of June 8, 2026, the Michelin Le Mans Cup brings together an exceptional 57-car field, including 34 Ligier JS P325s, for the most eagerly awaited event of the season.
The format changes for the 11th edition of Road To Le Mans. For the first time, the competitors contest a single three-hour race on the 8.467-mile Circuit de la Sarthe during the 24 Hours of Le Mans race week.
Two Pole Positions for the Ligier JS P325
The 60-minute qualifying session takes place on Thursday, June 11. It is interrupted on the opening lap by a red flag following an off-track excursion for the #22 Trajectus Motorsport Ligier JS P325. The session resumes with 47 minutes remaining.
Another interruption under Slow Zone conditions disrupts the session before it eventually ends under Full Course Yellow after an LMP3 comes to a stop on track.
Despite the interruptions, Arthur Rogeon takes pole position in the #12 Brutal Fish by Campos Racing Ligier JS P325. With a lap of 3:49.724, he secures his first pole of the season, finishing eight-tenths of a second ahead of Matteo Franco Segre in the #5 23Events Racing Ligier JS P325.
In LMP3 Pro-Am, DKR Engineering also claims pole position, its second of the season. Quentin Antonel puts the #3 DKR Engineering Ligier JS P325 at the top of the class with a lap of 3:50.901.
An Eventful Start to the Race
On Friday, June 12, 57 cars take the start of the three-hour Road To Le Mans race on the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit.
As the leaders pass through the Dunlop Chicane, several incidents occur further back in the field. Race Control initially activates a Slow Zone, followed by a Full Course Yellow to clear the track.
In Pro-Am, Andrew Rackstraw makes an excellent start in the #49 High Class Racing Ligier JS P325. Starting ninth in the class, he takes the lead on the opening lap.
At the restart, Matus Ryba takes advantage of the opportunity to move the #19 Brutal Fish by Campos Racing Ligier JS P325 into second place overall.
The Ligier JS P325s Take Turns at the Front
Shortly before the end of the first hour, an accident at the Porsche Curves brings out the Safety Car. Following contact with another LMP3, Cédric Oltramare spins the #97 CLX Motorsport Ligier JS P325 into the barriers.
The race resumes after approximately 20 minutes under caution. Following the pit stops, the #20 High Class Racing Ligier JS P325 leads ahead of the #12 Brutal Fish by Campos Racing Ligier JS P325, with Arthur Rogeon gradually closing the gap.
The #20 is subsequently handed a ten-second penalty, to be served at its next pit stop, for an infringement under yellow-flag conditions.
After 90 minutes of racing, the two Brutal Fish by Campos Racing Ligier JS P325s occupy the top two positions overall. At the same time, Quentin Antonel leads the Pro-Am category in the #3 DKR Engineering Ligier JS P325.
Brutal Fish by Campos Racing Wins on Its First Appearance
Brutal Fish by Campos Racing quickly builds a gap over its pursuers. The #12 of Arthur Rogeon and August Raber retains the lead through to the checkered flag and wins Road To Le Mans on the team's first appearance.
The Spanish team finishes 23 seconds ahead of the #20 High Class Racing Ligier JS P325. The sister #19 Brutal Fish by Campos Racing Ligier JS P325, driven by Matus Ryba and Lucas Fluxa Cross, completes the podium.
The Ligier JS P325 therefore locks out the top three positions overall, while Louis Iglesias sets the fastest race lap in the #6 ANS Motorsport Ligier JS P325 with a time of 3:49.289.
Another All-Ligier JS P325 Podium in Pro-Am
The #78 M Racing Ligier JS P325, led by Wayne Boyd, initially crosses the finish line first in Pro-Am and third overall.
It finishes ahead of the #98 Motorsport98 Ligier JS P325 of Eric De Doncker and Gillian Henrion, and the #3 DKR Engineering Ligier JS P325 driven by Quentin Antonel and Antti Rammo.
After the race, however, the #78 receives penalties for failing to comply with the minimum reference pit-stop time and for a technical infringement. The Pro-Am victory therefore goes to the #98 Motorsport98 Ligier JS P325.
The #3 DKR Engineering Ligier JS P325 finishes second in the category, ahead of the #66 Rinaldi Racing Ligier JS P325 driven by Steve Parrow and Mikkel Pedersen. The latter also sets the fastest Pro-Am race lap with a time of 3:49.190. Ligier teams therefore secure a second all-Ligier JS P325 podium.
