Endurance Brasil: Foresti Sports gives the Ligier JS P320 its second win at Interlagos.
The Ligier JS P320 continues its winning start to the Endurance Brasil season. In the second round of the 2026 championship, held at Autódromo de Interlagos on 23 May 2026 , the #42 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, shared by Lucas Foresti, Victor Foresti and Gabriel Koenigkan, won after a three-hour race marked by rain and a particularly intense finish.
Already victorious in the season opener, the Brazilian team claimed its second win in two rounds and strengthened its lead in the championship. Behind it, the Ligier JS P320s locked out the overall and P1 category podiums, with second place for the #27 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320 and third place for another Foresti Sports car, the #2.
A Ligier JS P320 overall sweep
The second round of Endurance Brasil took place in difficult conditions, with three hours of racing in the rain at Interlagos. In this demanding context, the Ligier JS P320s once again ran at the front.
The #42 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, entrusted to Lucas Foresti, Victor Foresti and Gabriel Koenigkan, completed the 75-lap race in the lead and claimed overall victory. It finished ahead of the #27 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320, driven by Gustavo Kiryla, Renan Guerra and Marcelo Pisani, second by only three tenths of a second.
The #2 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, shared by Eduardo Elias, Miguel Rosário and Alexandre Rosário, completed the podium.
A high-pressure finish
In the closing laps, victory came down to a battle between two Ligier JS P320s. At the wheel of the #42 Foresti Sports Ligier JS P320, Lucas Foresti had to resist repeated attacks from Renan Guerra, who was chasing him in the #27 GForce Autosport Ligier JS P320.
The GForce Autosport driver tried several times to find a way through. But Lucas Foresti held the advantage until the checkered flag. The two Ligier cars crossed the finish line separated by only 0.3 seconds after a spectacular duel.
