Ligier JS Cup France: first victory for the #70 Zosh – Murs Peints Ligier JS2 R at Spa!
The Spa-Francorchamps circuit hosted the fourth round of the 2023 Ligier JS Cup France from Friday 19 to Saturday 20 May, fought out by 21 Ligier JS2 Rs. #70 run by Zosh – Murs Peints scored its maiden victory! In the AM category the #8 DS / FCR 8 also clinched its first win!
• The #139 Ligier JS2 R DS / ADX 139 crewed by Xavier Dayraut and Andrea Deldossi topped the time sheets in free practice with the fastest lap in 2:33.379s.
• Mickaël Mota and Olivier Pernaut in the #9 Ligier JS2 R d'Orhès – 2M Promotion bagged their second pole position of the season in a time of 2:30.743s.
• The race started in the late morning. In the Pro-Am category, the #70 Ligier JS2 R Zosh – Murs Peints driven by Grégory Servais and Xavier Knauf won its first race of the season in front of the #9 d'Orhès – 2M Promotion and #139 de DS / ADX 139, which came home third. The #8 DS / FCR 8 Ligier JS2 R of Franck Coibon, Thomas Petit and Gregor Raymondis at the controls also scored their first victory of the season. Into second came the #24 run by Baltisse Racing (Simon Balcaen and Pierre Castelein) and third went to the #42 d'Orhès – Feed Racing entry (Jean Maurin and Mickaël Petit).
There will now be a long break and the Ligier JS Cup France will restart on 8 - 9 September at Le Castellet.
