Ligier JS Cup France: Orhès scores its second Le Mans victory on the bounce!
The second round of the 2023 Ligier JS Cup France took place on the Le Mans Bugatti circuit on 30 – 31 March. The #9 Ligier JS2 R entered by Orhès – 2M Promotion Mat Immo once again stood out from its rivals by emerging victorious in the 6-hour race. In the Am category another Orhès car, #42, clinched its first win of the season.
• The #8 Ligier JS2 R entered by the Ecurie DS (Franck Coibon, Thomas Petit et Gregor Raymondis) posted the fastest time in free practice with a lap in 2:01.510s.
• The #70 Zosh – Murs Peints Ligier JS2 R (Thierry Petit, Grégory Servais and Xavier Knauf) clinched pole position in qualifying in a time of 1:43.122s.
• The #9 Orhès – 2M Promotion Mat Immo Ligier JS2 R (Mickaël Mota and Olivier Pernaut) bagged its second win on the bounce in the Pro-Am category. #93 run by Zosh – 93 (Raphaël Deschamps, Louis Marques and Julien Rodrigues) came home in second place with the #2 Trajectus JS2 R (Jules and Benoît Tréluyer) in third.
• In the Am category, the #42 Orhès – Feed Racing Ligier JS2 R (Jean Maurin, Mickaël Petit and Kasparas Vingilis) scored their first victory of the season followed by #18 run by Orhès – SAMBMS BMA (Emeric Merzougui, Franck Dalavalle and Michael Da Costa) and Speboff's #63 (Stéphane Adler, Sylvain Caroff and Vincent Roches).
Rendezvous at Dijon on 15th April for the third round of the championship.
