Ligier JS Cup France: ZOSH – J4R repeats in Dijon.

The second round of season 6 of the Ligier JS Cup France took place on 12 and 13 April on the Dijon-Prenois circuit under spring-like weather conditions. 29 Ligier JS2 Rs took to the track to master the fast, technical layout of the legendary circuit. In the Elite category, the #93 ZOSH - J4R Ligier JS2 R, driven by Jean-René de Fournoux and Julien Rodrigues, joined by Raphaël Deschamps, claimed a second consecutive victory. In the Gentleman category, the #22 ZOSH 22, which had finished second at Le Mans with the duo of Guillaume Brichard and Junior Maximilien Menu, won this second round. Romain Boeckler took first place in the Junior standings in the #15 TMP BY LVR Ligier JS2 R.

- On Friday 12 April, the drivers geared up to tackle the fast Dijon circuit during three hours of private testing, followed by a one-hour free practice session. The 30-minute qualifying session kicked off immediately afterwards at 3pm.

- The #15 TMP BY LVR Ligier JS2 R took pole position in the Elite class with a best time of 01:21.233.

- In the Gentleman category, it was the #74 XP RACING Ligier which set the fastest qualifying time of 01:22.255.

- The four-hour race got underway at 8.45am on Saturday April 13.

The #93 ZOSH - J4R Ligier JS2 R tops the Elite category once again.

- Jean-René Defournoux and Julien Rodrigues, this time teamed up with Raphaël Deschamps in the #93 ZOSH - J4R, scored their second consecutive victory and confirmed their position as leaders in the provisional championship standings.

- The #9 of ORHES - MATIMMO - COMEBACK was second again, keeping up the pressure on the #93.

- The #42 of ORHES - FEED RACING made its first appearance in the top three with Kasparas Vingilis joined by GT driver Théo Nouet.

First victory in the Gentleman category for the #22 ZOSH 22

- Already second at Le Mans, the #22 ZOSH 22, driven by Guillaume Brichard and Junior Maximilien Menu, took first place this time.

- The #408 of NO LIMIT RACING with Amaury Dours and Sébastien Margot at the controls crossed the finish line second in class.

- The consistency of ORHES SYSTEMIC's #21 gave the team its first podium finish of the season.

Romain Boeckler wins the Junior classification in the #15 TMP BY LVR.

- At the end of the 40-minute race in the Junior rankings, it was a brand new trio that prevailed.

- Romain Boeckler, driving the #15 TMP BY LVR Ligier JS2 R, started from pole position and led the entire race to claim his first win of the season.

- He was followed by Vincent Bouteiller in the #83 TRAJECTUS 83 and Thomas Martinez in the #9 ORHES - MATIMMO - COMEBACK.

The third round of the championship will take place on 3 and 4 May on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, with another four-hour race.

The Ligier Junior Programme in brief:

- Provision of a JS P4 for the winner of the Junior ranking in the Ligier JS Cup France in 2024 to take part in the 2025 Ligier European Series season.

- 100,000 € for the JS2 R champion(s) to take part in the following season's Ligier European Series at the wheel of a JS P4 (prize system in effect since 2022).

- 150,000 € for the JS P4 champion(s) to compete the following season in the Michelin Le Mans Cup at the wheel of a Ligier JS P320 (LMP3) (prize system in effect since 2022).
