The Ligier JS F3s in the starting blocks for the 2019 F3 Americas

The F3 Americas 2019 season will start on April 4, 2019 at Barber Motorsports Park. Mark your calendars! The Ligier JS F3s, the F3 Americas' exclusive chassis produced in Ligier Automotive's workshops in Denver NC, are ready to start this new season.

The Ligier JS F3 is Ligier's latest single-seater launched in 2018. It hit the track last year in the very first edition of the F3 Americas. With the latest in technology, safety, affordability and styling, the Ligier JS F3 is the perfect next step after the Formula 4 U.S. Championship. Stepping into the F3 Americas series, builds upon the progression offered by the F.I.A. from the F4 U.S. Championship.

“Last year, we saw Kyle Kirkwood, the 2017 F4 U.S. Champion move up to F3 and clinched the 2018 F3 Americas title, says Max Crawford, Ligier Automotive North America Chief Executive. This year again many F4 drivers are moving up to the Ligier JS F3 and the F3 Americas. We just had Kent Vaccaro veteran F4 driver from Momentum Motorsports in our workshops last week for a seat fitting in the Ligier JS F3".

"Momentum Motorsports will start testing their new Ligier JS F3 next week as will Dakota Dickerson champion of the 2018 F4 U.S. Championship in his new Ligier JS F3 to get ready for the 2019 season, explains Max. Also moving up to F3 Americas from the F4 U.S. Championship is Velocity Racing Development.  Velocity Racing Development has been busy the last two months testing their Ligier JS F3s with two new drivers, Mathias Soler-Obel and Ricco Shaimoun. We have other Ligier JS F3s currently available in our workshops for teams and drivers wanting to make a move to the F3 Americas".

The F3 Americas season will kick off on April 4, 2019 at Barber Motorsports Park with two races. The season continues for 15 more races at some of the best U.S. tracks (Road Atlanta, Pittsburgh International Race Complex, Virginia International Race Complex, Sebring International Raceway and last event weekend will be announced shortly).
