U.S. F4 Championship: two new winners in New Jersey

At the end of the third round at New Jersey Motorsports Park from July 25 to 28, Alex Crosbie (Ligier JS F422 #41, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport) and Connor Roberts (Ligier JS F422 #46, Team Roberts Racing) scored their first championship wins, while Nicolas Stati (Ligier JS F422 #15, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport) won for the third time this season.

Race 1: Alex Crosbie wins on the wire

- Two or even three cars came together at the first corner. Fourth on the grid, Pablo Benites Jr (Ligier JS F422 #44, Scuderia Buell) took the lead, passing poleman Nicolas Stati on the outside.

- A victim of his handling, Pablo Benites Jr let Alex Crosbie and Nicolas Stati get away. After a long duel, they were separated by just 0.490 at the chequered flag.

- Alex Crosbie took his first win of the season.

- Third-placed Pablo Benites Jr was demoted to fifth after post-race technical inspection. Barrett Wolfe (Ligier JS F422 #13, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport) recovered third place.

Race 2: Third victory for Nicolas Stati

- Nicolas Stati got his revenge on Sunday morning. He won Race 2 from pole, thanks to his fastest lap in Race 1. Alex Crosbie finished on the second step of the podium.

- Daniel Quimby (Ligier JS F422 #24, Cruise America) made an excellent start from sixth position and overtook Pablo Benites Jr for third place shortly before the halfway mark. Barrett Wolfe completed the top 5.

Race 3: First win for Connor Roberts

- On Sunday afternoon, Alex Crosbie and Nicolas Stati were again on the front row. But both went off the track on the first and second laps, handing the lead to Pablo Benites Jr, whose lead grew to two and a half seconds.

- With 15 minutes to go, Connor Roberts dislodged Daniel Quimby from second place and reduced the gap to Pablo Benites Jr to 0.255, who eventually spun.

- Connor Roberts won ahead of Daniel Quimby and Nicolas Stati. The latter two were penalized 5 seconds after the finish. Alex Crosbie and Barrett Wolfe took the last two podium places in that order.
